Prof S P Narang

Prof S P Narang, Head, Department of Library & Information Science, Punjabi University, Patiala has taken over as Dean, Faculty of Education &Information Science for a period of two years w. e. f. 12 January 2001. He has also been nominated as the member of senate and the syndicate of the University for a period of two years and one year respectively from the aforementioned date.

Dr R P Kumar

Dr R P Kumar, Chief Librarian, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi was awarded WHO Fellowship under Medical Informatics Training Programme of WHO for a period of six weeks from 9^th December 2000 to 21^st January 2002.
Under this programme he was attached as a Fellow to the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, USA under the supervision of Mr. Brett Kirkpatrick, Director, Moody Medical Library. During this period he also visited Texas Medical Center Library and MD Anderson Cancer Centre Library.
